EXPLORE BY STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD

Stand-up paddleboard or SUP means gliding across clear blue waters in picturesque locations while spotting colorful fish, curious sea turtles (honu), and during winter months if you’re lucky, humpback whales (koholā). It’s equal parts core workout and leisure, and a chance to connect with the Islands from a new perspective.

SUP is a modern Hawaiʻi-born sport that’s taken waterways worldwide by storm. While you can technically surf the waves on a SUP board, most people prefer calm waters. Plus, it’s easy to pick up and lets you explore coastlines and bays at your own pace. Many popular beaches and coves will have SUP rentals spots so all you have to do is bring your swimsuit.
